A brief introduction about the author.
Jay Gao is a photographer based out of Philadelphia, PA. His interest in photography sparked when his older sister first purchased a DSLR camera. After a few hours of fidgeting around, he knew this was something he wanted to do throughout his life. Months later, he purchased his own Canon T2i and the journey began.
Since then, Jay has progressed from the digital world and indulged into the dying medium of analog photography. He also attended school at the School of Visual Arts. With skills acquired throughout the years, he is familiar with many different forms of photography ranging from fine arts to commercialized work, working with both film and digital.
He primarily shoots with a Leica M6 for film and a Fujifilm X-Pro1 for digital work.
Here’s a film selfie just because.
